Birthday Girl

Well it's a total lie actually because it's not my birthday just yet. I just wanted to celebrate it with my cropping pals last Saturday as we were having our Christmas buffet and it was just such a lovely atmosphere. I even joined in with Happy Birthday to You except I said "me" lol!

Thanks for a lovely day girls.

Homewarming

My pal Katrina came to play today and we had a fantastic time. We chatted and chatted and chatted (as per usual) and only just managed to cram in the start of a card at the end of the day!! We had lovely tummy-warming soup, rolls, doughnuts, Chrstmas cake and a couple of Thorntons chocs, just for good measure - well one does have to look after oneself, doesn't one? :D Look at these gorgeous flowers that Katrina gave me. I had to put them in my biscuit barrel because I only have one vase now and those contain the flowers my baby brother brought me last week - now that's just being spoilt rotten lol. Thanks for a lovely day Katrina if you read this.

Schoolboy Now

Just to prove I'm still around! I have been crafting (just started last Saturday at my crop). Now to just either learn to scan again or get my camera out and take some photos. All things that I'm very rusty at, but it should be like riding a bicycle as they say! Here's a lovely photo that Ami took of my special boy. He's loving school and can't wait to get there. He can't understand why some children cry. He's a very lucky boy I tell him. Notice all that extra space for growing into. :D

Camper Van - June 2010

The charity shop find - £2.99. I bought it for Charlie but I think Nana has more fun with it!

The Gruffalo - 11 Feb 2010

I downloaded a Gruffalo mask from the net and we coloured it in. LOL at the cellotape to hold it onto Charlie's face!

The Four of Us - Photo Booth -Summer 2009

How many peeps can you cram in a photo booth lol?! Ami had her butt hanging out of the booth, Vikki was squashed in the back, I was on the seat and was trying to haul Charlie up but there was so little room and because I'm not so strong I could only get him up so far up. Mind you, I rather like his quizzical little eyebrows coming into shot!

The Chef - February 2010

Charlie loves to cook - he helps his Mummy every day cook the evening meal. Ami is teaching him properly.

Birthday Boy - Feb 2010

He loved his rosette that was on a birthday card - he said to his Mummy "Look I'm a winner"! The only time he's seen a rosette before is on Timmy Time when they win them for entering races. Bless his heart.

Mask Painting - May/June 2010

A series of photos - it's the end of "A Nana Day" so we are tired but Nana takes me to The Factory Shop and I choose a mask painting set. I love masks and I'm happy to paint although it's not my favourite thing in the whole scheme of things. I mix up my colours happily and Nana says that it makes brown if I do that. I say that I like brown - Nana can't argue with that!! Nana has a Diet Coke drink and I say I want some so Nana passes it to me. She has forgotten that it makes me as high as a kite and I can go from kitten to tiger within 30 seconds. Will Nana remember that next time - as sure as heck she won't! Poor Mummy will have to bear the brunt when she comes to collect me soon. Whoops so sorry Ami - "your Mummy" will try harder for next time. :D

May/June 2010

I can only just recall taking this photo (PLEASE CLICK ON IT TO MAKE IT POP). Charlie adores dressing up at the best of times - he has a huge collection of clothes and wigs/moustaches/beards. I am sure my buddy is going to be an actor one day. I can't help but think how beautiful he looks in this one - the lighting is so pure and the way he is looking down (I think I may have bought him a toy as well and he was looking at that) - just right for a little boy who is four years of age - pure. He loves his TAZ outfit too. I hope this photo makes you smile - it makes me smile (but there again, I am terribly biased!).

Ami's Birthday

It was Ami's birthday yesterday (6th) and this is the birthday card (and envelope) I made for her. She liked it especially touching her "poxy" stickers!
Ami and Vikki were going to an early viewing of the Titans film with Liam Neeson today so we all went to town mega-early. We were eating Cornish pasties by 10.30 in the morning lol. I took this photo of the girls but I don't think they like it. I do.

Old Down Country Park

6 x 12 LO
We went here on Easter Sunday (the 4th April) and had a lovely few hours. Charlie used up a lot of excess energy (thank goodness) on the trampoline. He threw himself hither and thither with such confidence, it was wonderful to see. The face painting was so comical. The girl was absolutely lovely (and they were only charging £1, which is a total bargain in this day and age), but I'm sure the patch cord should have been coming across the top of his head! There were two Vietnemese Pot Bellied Sows with their litters of piglets - so fat, so cute. Walking across the other pig yard was an experience and not for those with delicate nostrils or stomachs - bleurgh. We had a wonderful lunch (all home cooked) and I even bought myself some little heart gifts in the shop. Also spotted the lovely ceramic fridge magnet of the "little mutt" and simply had to have it!Before we left I bought some home made meringue nests and Cornish Clotted Cream - naughty, but exceedingly nice. :
