Ami met me with Charlie to pick me up so I could go to the hospital. We went to The Downs first of all as Ami had promised Charlie an ice-cream. It was magical to be out in the open air with one of my daughters and my grandson.
I noticed the bus stop for the tour and said we must do this. At that precise moment along came an Open Top Bus. Charlie's face was full of wonder. The bus stopped and all the people on the top deck waved to him and so did the driver of the bus! He fell over on the floor and nearly dropped his ice cream lol. He said he wanted to go on it.
There we go - a trip out!
